The European Commission of the International League Against Epilepsy ( ILAE) awarded – for the fisrt time – a French basic scientist: Pr Yehezkel Ben Ari with the 2010 European Epileptology Award during the opening Ceremony of the 9th Congress of Epielptology in Rhodes ( Greece) on June 27th 2010.

ILAE’s mission is to ensure that health professionals, patients and their care providers, governments, and the public world-wide have the educational and research resources that are essential in understanding, diagnosing and treating persons with epilepsy.

The Prize assignes Pr Ben Ari tremendous contribution to the field of Epileptology.
