Upright Leica SP8
This confocal microscope is a powerful multidimensional acquisition machine. Based on conventional excitation lasers, we can use different fluorescent dyes visible from UV to deep red (Four diodes: 405; 488; 561 and 642 nm). Equipped with three hybrid detectors that are twice as sensitive as standard PMTs, this microscope is also easily tunable in terms of the detection spectrum thanks to Leica’s patented filterless device.
This microscope is characterised by: – Motorised XY and Z stage – 5X, 10X and 20X dry and 40X, 63X and 100X oil immersion objectives and a 25X water objective with large numerical aperture and long working distance ideal for thick and transparent samples.
