Multiphoton Multifocal Microscopy : TriMscope.
This technology allows calcium imaging in brain slice on a large number of cells ( field 400 X 400 microns ) at a frequency of more than 10 frames per second (up to 20 Hz max).
This position is also configured to electrophysiological patch-clamp recordings . It is therefore possible to simultaneously measure the variations of the calcium concentration of the cell field (ΔF/F) and the ionic currents on a cell of interest .
Water immersion objectives 20X (NA 0.95 ) optimized for multiphoton imaging. Possibility of using 10 X (NA 0.3 ), 40 X (NA 0.8) , 60 X (NA 0.9) and 100X (NA 1.0) all water immersion and long working distance. Two sets of eyepieces 10 X and 20 X ( 400 X magnification allows for visual patch clamp ) laser pulsed sources femtosecond Coherent Chameleon Ultra I ( 2.6 W at 800 nm).
