Experimenting and debating to better understand science
The transmission and teaching of scientific knowledge is essential for INMED, even beyond the university setting. This is why the Tous Chercheurs (All researchers) association has found its place on the Institute’s premises.
Tous Chercheurs works to bring together students and researchers, patients and researchers, citizens and researchers, etc. Led by a collective of scientists, its objective is to educate and encourage participation in research in order to promote understanding of how science is constructed. The public is placed in the position of the researcher, working as a team on a project or issue under the guidance of a trainer (a member of the Tous Chercheurs team or a tutor trained in active pedagogy).
Everyone acquires the keys to understanding how to be active in science and participate in current debates.
The association develops four areas of activity:
• Research education for students
• Health education for members of patient associations
• Participatory science and research for all audiences
• Professional training for scientific and administrative research staff
Tous Chercheurs is also a national network of open research laboratories.
